WOLF RIVER by
Jill gregory
New York City children’s author Erinn
Winters is haunted by a past no one
knows, and dark visions of death and
danger that come to her without warning.
But when a desperate search for her
estranged sister leads her to Wolf
River, Montana, Erinn suddenly finds her
secrets, even her very life, at risk.
And after meeting notoriously sexy Jase
Fortune, Erinn finds herself in another
kind of danger—she could lose her heart.
Jase Fortune is as committed to staying
single as he is to running his booming
family ranch––until mysterious, gorgeous
Erinn shows up. But someone is out to
destroy the Fortunes, and Jase finds
himself willing to do anything to
protect not only his family but Erinn
too. As the peril mounts, so do Erinn’s
and Jase’s feelings for each other, but
the promise of love is threatened by
deadly secrets and vicious enemies, and
a killer who will stop at nothing….
Reviews:
WOLF RIVER is an enjoyable Big Sky ranch
romantic suspense that sub-genre fans
will appreciate. The story line is
driven by a strong cast especially Erinn
who desperately wants to do the right
thing for his sister that she could not
have done in the past…..a fabulous
family drama starring two strong lead
characters and full blooded secondary
players adding depth to the tale.

WOLF RIVER is a gripping tale that works as a passionate
romance and a suspense-filled mystery.
Action and danger abound as Jase and
Erinn search for answers as to who is
behind the trouble at Jase’s ranch and
just what Devon is caught up in. Author
Jill Gregory expertly weaves these two
threads together into a satisfying
whole. With each page, the suspense
grows and directly in proportion to that
is the increasing tension between Jase
and Erinn. He’s a no-nonsense, sexy
cowboy and she’s a feisty, independent
city gal. Their attraction is magnetic,
and readers anticipate passion to flare
at any moment. However, these are also
two well-defined, realistic characters
who engage readers early on with their
emotional scars and their
vulnerabilities. Erinn’s remorse over
leaving her sister is sincere and
touching. And Jase is so alluring that
any woman would want to help him forget
his cheating ex-wife.
Many secondary characters win readers
over as well. Devon is realistic as a
troubled young teenager, and Jase’s
family is warm and loving, all of whom
play an important part in the story.
Yet, not everyone in the little town of
Wolf River is quite so nice.
Interesting twists, including Erinn’s
strange visions of death, shootings at
Fortune’s Way Ranch, and people
disappearing, keep readers guessing
throughout the story about who the
villain or villains may be and how
everything ties together.
With its excellent characterization,
original plot, and emotional romance,
WOLF RIVER comes very highly
recommended.

WOLF RIVER by Jill Gregory is an
emotional rollercoaster of a ride from
the first page. This author has
successfully penned a chilling suspense
with a creatively interwoven romance.
These incredible and believable
characters along with this wonderfully
western storyline will stay with the
reader long after the last page is read.
I highly recommend this fantastic read
to everyone!
