Reviews:

WOLF RIVER is an enjoyable Big Sky ranch romantic suspense that sub-genre fans will appreciate. The story line is driven by a strong cast especially Erinn who desperately wants to do the right thing for his sister that she could not have done in the past…..a fabulous family drama starring two strong lead characters and full blooded secondary players adding depth to the tale.

WOLF RIVER is a gripping tale that works as a passionate romance and a suspense-filled mystery.  Action and danger abound as Jase and Erinn search for answers as to who is behind the trouble at Jase’s ranch and just what Devon is caught up in.  Author Jill Gregory expertly weaves these two threads together into a satisfying whole.  With each page, the suspense grows and directly in proportion to that is the increasing tension between Jase and Erinn.  He’s a no-nonsense, sexy cowboy and she’s a feisty, independent city gal.  Their attraction is magnetic, and readers anticipate passion to flare at any moment.  However, these are also two well-defined, realistic characters who engage readers early on with their emotional scars and their vulnerabilities.  Erinn’s remorse over leaving her sister is sincere and touching.  And Jase is so alluring that any woman would want to help him forget his cheating ex-wife.

Many secondary characters win readers over as well.  Devon is realistic as a troubled young teenager, and Jase’s family is warm and loving, all of whom play an important part in the story.  Yet, not everyone in the little town of Wolf River is quite so nice.  Interesting twists, including Erinn’s strange visions of death, shootings at Fortune’s Way Ranch, and people disappearing, keep readers guessing throughout the story about who the villain or villains may be and how everything ties together.

With its excellent characterization, original plot, and emotional romance, WOLF RIVER comes very highly recommended.
